Anticipation grows for the battle between No. 1 Memphis and No. 2 Tennessee

On Saturday the No. 1 team in the country, the Memphis Tigers will face the No.2 team in the country, the Tennessee Volunteers. It will mark the first time since 1998 that the top two teams from the same state will play each other.

As of Tuesday, tickets were being sold online for as much as 10,000 dollars and are being sought after by fans everywhere.

This is the highest either team has ever been ranked, and you throw in the fact that its an in-state clash, you can see why both schools have having problems getting alumni to the game.

Tennessee has said Peyton Manning will be in attendance, but almost missed out on tickets himself. Manning went to Tennessee of course, before being drafted by the Colts.
