ESPN analyst Dick Vitale is set to make his long-awaited return to the broadcast booth in tonight's showdown between Duke and North Carolina. Vitale who had surgery back in December to treat ulcers on his left vocal cord, has recovered significantly.

Before undergoing the surgery, Vitale had never missed a game since joining ESPN back in 1979.

Dickie V couldn't have picked a better time to come back and broadcast a game. He'll be able to bring his trademark voice and one-liners to the best rivalry in all of college basketball; Duke-UNC. The two teams that are ranked number 2 and 3 in the nation(respectively).

Hate him or love him, Dick Vitale is a broadcasting legend that brings a plethora of energy and charisma with him wherever he goes. It's the Tar Heel's taking on the Blue Devils in Chapel Hill with Dick Vitale calling the game. If your not excited for this, you might want to check your pulse.
