University of Maine taking on UNH This Weekend

The Maine Black Bears are heading into this weekend 8-13-3 on the season and 4-10-3 in Hockey East play. New Hampshire is in first with a 16-7-1 overall and 12-4-1 in conference play. If the Black Bears are able to win then they can gain back some valuable points heading down the stretch to the end of the season. There games will be the 99th and 100th in the series between the Black Bears and Wildcats. If the Black Bears are going to win then expect to see Bret Tyler in the mix and Ben Bishop is going to have to play well in net or the Bears won't even have a chance against the number one ranked Wild Cats. Plus the defense needs to stop giving up so many shots on goal. Bishop had a career high in 49 saves last Saturday against the UMass Minutemen and that's not going to win this weekend if Bishop has to try to save over 50 shots on goal.
