Signing day frenzy

Today was a very critical day for college football programs all over the country, as signing day rolled around. A day that can set teams apart from the rest or can keep them scratching their heads until next year. Signing day is when The country's best high school football players decide on where they want to go to college; it's crucial to team's success. Coaches put a lot of effort in trying to get the best players to come play for their program.

Some early winner's from signing day this year are Alabama, USC, and Ohio State to name a few.

Nick Saban, head coach of the Alabama crimson tide is all smiles after finding out that Julio Jones announced he would sign with Alabama. Jones was considered by many to be the best player in the country and will help bolster the Crimson Tide's aerial attack for the next several years at the wide receiver position. Nick Saban has been known to be a very good recruiter in the past after winning a national championship with LSU, and seems to be on the right track here at Alabama.

Star defensive end Nick Perry, who is from Detroit opted to sign with USC instead of goin with the hometown juggernaut Michigan Wolverines. As can be expected, Michigan fans did not take the news well and have already started to point their finger's at Perry saying he accepted gifts from USC.

This just goes to show how heavily competitive the recruiting process can be.
