Just like in professional sports the Canadian athletes might be able to go ahead and play along with the American College Athletes. However, it’s not in either Division 1 or 3 but only in Division 2. This isn’t the only time that the idea has been brought up. In 1998 the proposal was ruled out because it was only going to applied to just the Division 2 instead of having it for the whole nation.
I don’t know about you but college sports already have enough teams to worry about let alone adding some Canadian schools. Instead of complicating things why don’t they just keep things simple and leave things alone.
